    Can only think it was a running in process,where firewalls seem to use more mem., or some conflict.

    80mb is really unreasonably high!

    probably you tried ZASS and not ZAAS, in ZAAS there are no scannning processes. Memory usage in latest ZASS version (including scanning process) was also improved.

    Previous scanning processes (ZASS) were consuming 60-80MB when idle now they consume 0.6-2MB when idle.
