Would Prevx add anything?

    what about a rootkit type malware like when the atapi.sys .sys is infected can you locate and delete that?:D

    This isn't strictly true. As with any other anti-malware product, it depends on what settings you have the program at and what you have on your computer.

    I've often said that when looking at lists of FPs reported in AV tests, most of the packages I've never even heard of let alone have them installed.

    In any case, if Prevx (or any other product) is giving you an alert on something you're fairly sure is a FP, report it to the vendor.
