    Comparison threads are pointless. Each person has his/her own preference. Most such threads end up in a troll fest with a lot of accusations hurled at both companies.

    The answer is very simple: Use what feels good to you, and don't bother much what the rest of the world thinks. :)

    alright then, ill install avast! since i've tried it before and it works well

    I seriously don't understand why it is not allowed to compare AVs here when the entire world of forums online are meant for that :(
