    Hi,

When I make backup images with True Image, I verify them with True Image. If I copy an image from hard disk to DVD-R or CD-R, I verify the image on the removable medium. Would I be even safer if I used CRC verification? Or is that what True Image itself does when it verifies an image?

Many thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello Greyhair,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Acronis Check Image tool uses the CRC-32 algorithm to verify an image. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.
