When I try to connect my notebook to a running Wireless WLAN access point
a connection can NOT be established with the initial rule set in LnS.

    Why ?

When I exit LnS it works within 2 seconds.
Once the WLAN connection is established and I re-start LnS
everything works from now on for th rest of the session.
So I guess one of the rules prevent only the connection protocol handling at the network startup.

Does someone know which rule is the bad guilty one ?

My current Internet filtering rules are (see attached snapshot):

    Hi mattad :)

Add this rule at the top of the rules list:
    http://www.looknstop.com/En/rules/rules.htm#wifi

If you're using Bluetooth, this free tool may be useful:
    http://www.networkchemistry.com/products/bluescanner.php

Remark: It's seems that the Identification rule is enabled.

This is a server rule therefore you have to include the corresponding program in this rule.
That way the rule will be activated only by this program otherwise your PC will not be stealth.
Ident protocol is used by some Old Fashion Irc server. Add your Irc program in the rule or disable it.

You may check your Stealth Status at Gibson Research: www.grc.com

Check for the Shields Up test -> all services ports. Everythings must be "green"... including port 113 Ident. ;-)

    :)
