Wireless mouse won't work w/boot CD

I've just purchased TI8, build 786 and installed it on my system that uses a MS wireless keyboard/mouse combo (the wireless transmitter is USB connected to the system unit).

I created a TI8 boot CD and then booted to that CD. TI8 loaded fine and I have use of my wireless keyboard but not my wireless mouse. I can do some of the commands from the keyboard but it would be a lot easier if I had a mouse that functioned.

Is there any trick/fix/work around (or hope for one to come) to get a wireless mouse working when booting fr a CD?

 

The spacebar works for checking/uncheckign check boxes, which is where I always run into trouble when reinstalling an image with a wireless keyboard/mouse setup.

To get access to updates you should register your software first at http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/registration/. Please disable any download managers, internet download/connection boosters, etc. before the download.
