I tried the fix that had me stop the security service and rename the repository folder.

btw, when I entered the commands, REN %WINDIR%\...... I got an error message; "The syntax of the command is incorrect"

So I went to the wbem folder and renamed the repository folder to "rep.old". After rebooting, I still got the ".., might be out of date" message.

So, what do I do now?

Do you have a correct system date set?

No, I did not have the correct system date. I corrected the date, rebooted and all is well.

    Thank you Marcos
