Windows infection rates?

I'm not sure if this is the right subforum for this question, but here goes. (Mods: please move to the right subforum if not appropriate here.)

Once in a blue moon, I've come across reports and graphs of the malware infection rates experienced by various versions of Windows. Is there any publicly available report yet that offers a breakdown of the infection rates of Windows 10 PCs, vs. various earlier versions of Windows?

I'm looking for figures and stats rather than features and claims.

I didn't find any data about Win 10 infection rates compared to older versions. I'm expecting MS to release similar data before free upgrade period ends.
