Windows 7 services tab extened view blank

    Not sure if this is the right place to post but im desperate :D

    i went to install vmware and all i get is a blank install box so i thought id check services and then i notice thats it blank, but vmware still has only a blank install box just hangs...

    But i have checked most online places for a fix for both to no avail :(
    i tried sfc/scannow disk checker

    please help
