Windows 7 Not Requiring Password for Network Shares

    I've got my desktop setup to share just a test directory, which is D:\Test. My sharing options are as shown:

    On my laptop, I am not prompted for a password to connect to this share; it's just open. On my roommate's laptop, he is prompted. Originally the account name was the same on both computers but I changed it on my desktop and created a new shared folder and I still have access. None of the computers are in a homegroup. Any ideas?
