windows 7 keeps unhiding updates??

    i have ultimate installed on this laptop and i hide all the language updates since i dont need any of them and every time i go to check updates they become un-hid again... anyone have any thoughts i have not seen this before and i asked on a ms forum and got 0 responses... i want to keep these hid so the wife doesnt go and let it install all 32 languages we do not need on this system.. thanks

    not really the problem i know how to hide them. i ALREADY have them hidden but they will come back after a week or so. and i have to hide them all again...

    Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them, never had this issue before which is why im trying to figure this out
