Windows 7: "ESET Personal firewall initialization failed"

    Hey there

    I've had the error "ESET Personal firewall initialization failed" every time I try to reinstall Smart Security 4.2 - I've tried the manual installer, searching the registry for anything ESET related, removing all the services and drivers, etc. and nothing seems to be working.

    Errors I've had in the past: Unknown device appearing in Device Manager - this was the firewall miniport, and I had the error The system doesn't have enough resources to complete this service (or something like that).

    Thanks in advance... this is really annoying me!
