Winamp - Good for recording streaming audio ?

I've tried a few of these type of recorders that just record everything going through your sound card and most have been less than inspiring.

How does this recorder handle rebuffering for example? Does it record all the pauses and breaks when rebuffering occurs right in the middle of a song, like most of these types of recorders do?

Many stream recorders (like Screamer) use a buffer so you won't actually record these annoying pauses and breaks or other possible interference like poor audio quality of the stream itself.
