Win7, XP mode and ESS?

    So I have ESS on my machine and just loaded up Win7.

    The VM Xp computer doesn't have security and according to what I read it needs it.

    I need to create about 6 VM's and buying a copy for every VM is not something I want to have to do.

    Options?

    I think you are allowed to install ESS in XP mode under Win7 under the same licence. Not sure how many though
