I am glad my thread helped you out =)

I did not mean to create such controversy i just needed to know exactly what they do and make my own decisions. I just dont need all that extra protection. I wanted NOD32 for the adv heuristics which is being used with AMON and the full scan, also its low footprint.

Everyone uses programs differently, that is why they allow you to customize.

There is a definite speed difference especailly on slower machines with IMON on and off, I did some testing on my laptop with a 4200 rpm drive trust me you can see the difference.

i find that statement bizarre as IMON would only affect ur browsing speed and the performance difference is barely noticeable if u only use compatibility mode.

    Yes...

I know, it was very good to have this second chance and will be keeping it this time. I was seriously considering buying the product and then out of the blue it arrived again... I was most pleased. It's kinda linked in with this idea of being able to manifest things you desire most, but not to become attached to actually getting it... like forget about it and it happens.

Now... where did I put next weeks lottery ticket... but I must try and forget about it... mmmm... tricky paradox if ever there was one.

    Z :)

to you maybe it is..not to me.

You know there is a reason why they say not to enable it on a server.

What the difference what i do and why do you care so much?

It amazing how people ego's get in way of a software program.

Btw i have never ever got a virus through web browsing...so i am not that parnoid. I never even got spyware...only thing I ever get is ad cookies...plus I use firefox. I am just not that worried.

Amon should run all the time as it is the realtime scanner and disable else whatever you want.
The good thing about NOD is you have options. :)
