Why do ppl say to disable Indexing and Superfetch on an SSD?

    I don't understand, Indexing allows for faster search results and Superfetch allows programs to be preloaded into RAM for faster startup. So why is that a bad thing? Maybe on older first gen SSDs where they had limited reads/writes but with today's SSDs this shouldn't be a problem

    anyone care to explain this whether or not it stands true or not?

    99% of all guides are voodoo, so sample carefully.
    I tend to ignore most of the tweaking guides.
    Use default first and foremost, let it run for a while, then check.
