why can not disable google service?

    hi

    i installed nik bundle plugins from nik

    I used autoruns and there are 2 service under
    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services

    but if i run like an administrator services.msc i can't find them and stop them

    they are 2 services
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Update\GoogleUpdate.exe" /svc

    The below service indicates you have Google software installed, could be any Google software. Disabling the Service *may* cause the software to fail.
    See via the program and or software if there are other ways of disabling the phone home problem.

    You might want to go through Task Manager and disable it there.

    Edit: doh! I meant Task Scheduler, not Task Manager.

    Have a look in Task Scheduler.

    Edit... Mine are disabled there.

    Try an elevated command prompt.
    sc delete gupdate
    And
    sc delete gupdatem
