Which is best video /audio converter do you use and please specify the settings that u use and codec for encoding .
Re: Best Audio/Video converter I use ZC video to cellphone converter and also Aplus video converter pro. Probably not the best but they do the job for me.
Re: Best Audio/Video converter Cocoon is the only one thats x64 and it installs in program files in your Windows x64 Os and not the x86 program files. It handles basically everything out there and its free. http://www.cocoonsoftware.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=1&Itemid=30 Format Factory is excellent as well but it doesn't work for x32.
Hi raaki, for me the best is virtualdub (not virtualdubmod). If you master how to use the various filters of virtualdub you will love it. I use various codecs for different perpuses. H264 is the codec that gives the best compression/quality results but is also the one that take longer to encode. for the settings it depends on the codec. example: DIVX / XVID / MPEG4 a bitrate of 1300 will deliver very good quality, but you will have also to pay attention of the dimensions of the picture. you can find good guides about conversions at http://www.doom9.org/ and at http://www.digital-digest.com/
I use FairUse Wizard Full (paid, uncrippled) version for my XviD's. Output Quality is perfect and it encodes really fast compared to others. I use the highest quality settings,i Auto set Cropping and Auto Detect best videomode for each title. The rest i keep at defaults. Whenever theres a new version subscribers will get notified by email.
Re: Best Audio/Video converter I use Xilisoft, it can handle almost all formats and has a nice usable interface. They are giving away 10% off now, incase you are interested.
Ive tried out quite a few of these and in my opinion, Winnydows XVID4PSP is the best video converter. It converts to virtually all formats and is simple to use, has a large number of presets available for ipods, psp etc which can be tweaked to perfection if you wish to play around with them.
I use(d) Total Video Converter. It took care of not-too-long videos. Mainly used to convert to .mkv format which was the smallest-with-good-quality you could get.
