what's this virus? (trashing up my pc fast)

Hi, this is probably the scariest virus I've ever had.

It's spreading everywhere. Almost every folder I have is infected.

Here's what I observed:

Let's say I have a folder named "downloads". Inside that folder, I see a folder with the same name as the parent folder, (in this case it's also named "downloads") But it's actually an application and when I click it, it opens the "My Documents" folder.

Also, my pc restarts randomly for no apparent reason.

And when my pc starts up, the "MyDocuments" folder automatically opens.

Is this a new virus?

Any recommendations in terms of anti-malware software?
