About 200 MB (~6% of 3,3 GB) for all components is the limit for me. While KIS' processes take only a dozen MBs, it's drivers and DLLs take about a hundred (and I've noticed the same with all security programs so far - for RAM usage one should never look at only the memory used by processes).

What did you use to find the drivers and DLLs RAM usage?

Sysinternals Process Explorer will show you DLL memory usage for a PID if you show the lower pane and add appropriate columns via View > Select Columns... for DLL.

I changed my mind, from now on they are only allowed to use 2%!

The most reliable method I've found for checking the complete RAM usage of a security application is checking RAM usage without the product installed, installing the product and then checking RAM usage again.

I don't go by RAM usage consumed by av alone. I compare the total RAM consumption of the system as a whole since some av has higher RAM consumption individually but the total RAM used by system is less. Whereas some av uses less RAM for its processes and services but the total consumption by system as a whole is comparatively higher:)
