In general COMODO products tend to be troublesome. But those who survive and learn how to cope with the products they will benefit greatly. I believe that Comodo Internet Security gives the best ever protection and Comodo Time Machine is a superb snapshot technology.

It's on standby for now. There is Something strange going on with AppGiuard and AE from time to time, when I boot up from cold, AG is red as in turned off in the tray.A restart corrects it and no further problems. It only happens once in a while on cold start up.I am going to roll with AE for a while with mamutu.

One thing I really like about AE is that under pasword protection, its Gui can not be accessed or protection disabled with out the password.I know Appguard can be password protected as well but not with out creating a super user account.

yeah right  .......I like comodo fw/d+ a lot....its other products?....not so much....I tried them all...from trustconnect to file manager.....they are just craps.....don't work at all......and CTM messed up my system big time....system errors(not BSOD) would frequently settle in.....fortunately system restore did the trick at that time and save me......

yeah much like OA.....you cannot even uninstall OA unless you unlock it's gui with the password.....wsa also has the same protection....I like password protection a lot....but too bad eam, sas and hitmanpro do not have it....only eam would need it though......support says "The reason Emsisoft Anti-Malware has no password protection is that Emsisoft Anti-Malware uses a permission based system that is tied to the Windows account management. Online Armor doesn't have such a permission based system and therefore implements a classical password based system.".......

    Firewall
Behind Router, WIndows 7 (Norton DNS on router) plus Windows Firewall both inbound and outbound

    Windows build in protection
Running limited User. Moved Mail folder, Download Folder and Music Folder (WMP) to a "Anti_Drive_by" folder, which I added a DENY for EVERYONE to "Traverse Folder/Execute FIle" access control list (right click folder, choose Security tab, add user Everyone).

    Active Real Time protection
EMET 2.1 (mail, PDF, browser, wmp) + Avast file shield (only).

    2x Sandboxed Browsing
I normally browse with Chrome internal low rights/untrusted sandbox only. When surfing to darker corners of the internet, I add an extra virtualisation sandbox with Sandboxie Free (only allow files to download dir and access to bookmarks). Thx Tzuk for taking critism seriously (SBIE now respects Chrome low rights container).

I think I may have you confused with another member, but haven't you developed an AV and other security products yourself.....And if you have (as I said, it may not be you) why aren't they in your list?

    Hi,

I actually waited this question :).

Now i can answer to this:

I am developing my program on better programming language and
when it is completed (first public beta on better programming language) then i will start to use it.
I started partnership with one Russian company and their team help me with testing, suggestions, marketing etc. This all take some time to release next version of my program.

Why i don´t use available beta at the moment is because there is CPU usage (a little high) and this is fixed in newer release.

When CPU usage bug is fixed then i will start to
use my own program again :)

    Hope you understand my answer.

    Regards,
    Kardo
