    OMG! Just security maniacs around!

    MyConf: noAV + noFW + noHIPS + noSandbox + noLUA + noWinRestore + noBackupImage :)

Just highly updated Win XPSP3; Autorun=off; noIE,OE,ICQ&so on; alternative clients (K-Meleon or Comodo Dragon for web, smthing like Sylpheed for mail, any rare client for IM) + K9Web Protection content filter + AnVir Task Manager.

    That's it!

On-demand: some av-scanners, antiRKits, and security utilities.
    Result: Clean&safe system :thumb:

I'd feel naked if I didn't have anything running.

    FYI
Keyscrambler is a keeper. I really can't tell if its working. It seems good though. Very light.

    Keyscrambler rocks!

For your information, SnoopFree detected Keyscrambler at the keyboard kernel as a possible keylogger. It works.

Woops, PrevX didn't even last 10 mins LOL

It prevented Google Chrome from starting correctly, i mean the window opened but the browser itself didn't start correctly and was unusable :D (Same as Comodo)

    Malwarebytes Pro

    On demand
    ShadowDefender
    Sandboxie.

Removed Avira Premium as boot time has increased dramatically since version 10, webguard was also very heavy at times.

    Added Twister and Malwarebytes Pro.
System is flying again now :thumb:

i installed LnS some days ago. I made all rules . i allowed Eset to connect to internet for updating. I allowed opera to connect to internet. Then i restarted my computer .Suddenly i got a popup from LnS asking whether to allow or block Eset to connect to internet . I opened LnS and checked application rules. I found that some application rules were missing. SO i removed LnS.
I have a license So i will try it when new version comes.;)

I like having software very much too. Searching, downloading, installing, testing and uninstalling everyday by dozens ;-)
But I really can't understand the pleasure from "install-learn-setup-make rules-check compatibility-examine efficiency-control and so on" for software that makes no product besides possibility for safer work for other software ;) And if results are equal - why plow the sands!? :D

Believe me or not - scanned numerously by number of respected antirootkits: clean! About 5 years without hidden infections and reinstallations.

Oh, sorry - there was one case of rootkitty :) that was a time of absolutely absent protection. No AV, FW, updates, monitoring, utilities etc.
But its (rootkit's) life was poor and short :)

And yes (see answer for Noob) - I'm almost living in the Web and using or trying hundreds of softwares. But it's safe :)

P.S. I've just remembered one detail: noNTFS! Only FAT32 ;-)

    Remove TACO.
LinkExtend is awesome but I'll worry about my privacy if I have it. :)
Mamutu is my dream... I can't buy it o_O

    (LUA/DEP/ACL)

Browser: Google Chrome / IE8 (Default download directory forced Sandboxed)
P2P: Utorrent with Paranoid IP Filter (pipfilter) from BLUETACK (Default download directory forced Sandboxed)
    On-demand AV: Whatever I want :D

I believe ABP blocks those cookies in TACO's list.
LinkExtend might be actually sending your browser habits to provide its services.

and hey.. I got a 3months FULL version license of MAMUTU just now...
    Thanks to "ALookingInView"
