    I'm back!

Ditched all of my security programs except OA and EAZ-Fix.

Using latest Firefox as default browser, with various security extensions.

New machine. At the very moment I am running Outpost (Host protection enabled), KAV 2010, WinPatrol Plus & DefenseWall. I may reload MD and disable OP Hosts and exit WinPatrol. I have run both MD and OutPost with no problems. Always like to have a hardware & software firewall, KAV and at least one HIPS program at all running at all times. Dumped a lot of scanners including Prevx. Use KAV, MBAM, TH and a few dedicated rootkit detectors now. Paranoia is so reassuring.;)

So your primary reason for using Prevx is because it is an "incredibly fast on-demand scanner"?

    Interesting.

Use Hitman Pro 3.5 for this purpose, it is better than old PrevX CSI

why dont you dump, for a short time, Sandboxie and try the free Geswall with your setup. I think you would be pleasantly surprised.

Ok, well then, I am switching back to Prevx and Sandboxie since you feel that way. Is that ok with you?

How does anything regarding this have something to do with him? Only make up your own mind what suits you and nothing else.
