I'd rate myself intermediate, but only with high-level languages like dBase (at which I was expert enough that if I called the developer for assistance, quite often I'd get back "Sounds like you know more about it than we do"). As of 15 years ago I'm a brain-injury survivor and have an organic impediment to learning and problem-solving, but I worked with dBase enough years that much of it became almost rote and I can still work with it at home.
