No worries We always take comments with an open mind, regardless of how blunt they are. That's how we can improve our software and business.
I find it hard to take any company serious as a AV solution that encourages their users to spam for new users. Run a ad campaign and "invest" in marketing like the rest of the big boys, don't have your customers do it for you. (jmho) And yes I use your product, and like it. I just think your marketing stratgedy was designed by a 5th grader PeAcE
We appreciate your honest opinion. If you're talking about the Viral Security Program, this is simply designed to have users who like SecureAPlus to share it with more people and get rewarded along the way. It's not a requirement and we certainly do not penalize anyone who doesn't do it. It's simply an option designed to reward users who give back something of value to us - in this case, awareness. Whether it's spam or genuine desire to share SecureAPlus is not really up for us to decide. As for investing in marketing and advertising. The referral program is just one strategy to get SecureAPlus to more people at this stage. There's more at work here and even more amazing things to be done with SecureAPlus that will merit that stronger push that you might be looking for. P.S. Never underestimate a 5th Grader. Have you watched the show "Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader"? Them kids are smart.
