What happened to the FastStone website and software?

    Just checked to see if new versions were out for FastStone Image Viewer and FastStone Capture (two excellent programs) and the website has been mothballed. And most download locations that existed just a few days ago are now dead too. Anybody know what happenedo_O

    Yeah me too! I have learned that FS Image Viewer 2.7 had just been finished about a week or so and that for the first time, the installer had both a free and paid version (with the free one being feature limited.) Maybe the site is being re-designed for e-commerce.

    Still very strange how it all dried up so fast...

    Was about to download faststone captures update several days ago. Its been like that for days, sadly.

    Thanks, so I have to get the new versions though I don,t need the new version at all.
    Just for few icons, it,s so bad.

    yep. i just love that screen capture utility. beats the bloat out of snagit.

    Yes, but sometimes i still need some features of Snagit, when i need screenshots for my tutorials. It's still better regarding editing, but therefor also much bigger.

    Also a great image viewer. It's as good as some you pay $50 for. The image edit features are incredible. Best "red-eye" removal available. Great program.
