   I don't know if this is a simple and obvious question or not but here goes:
   
   What file types can contain malware (virus, trojan, etc.)?
   
   I know executables and compressed files can contain malware but what about MP3s, AVI, MOV, JPG, etc.
   
   Or, I guess to put it another way, can any file type contain malware or are there certain file types that can't contain malware?
