What does PE do. I know it looks @ info that is bing sent and recived (this is my understanding) but y would one use this software. There is obviosly alot of ppl who use it i would just like to know why, what reasons, what could PE help me solve.

BWMerlin, I use it when I want to know what apps are currently doing network related things. I also use it when needing to get the country of an IP address, whoising IP's, etc. I also use the packet sniffer a lot, especially on download sites which hide the URL you are downloading from so you can't use a download manager. Things like that, it is quite handy for me. -Jason-
actualy it perty simple what it does it basicly lets you see whats going on on your pc behind the tbe sceans if there is a bad program or one you never seen befor you just ask some one here what it is they will tell you if its evill or not then you can choose to keep it shut it dowen or straight kill it or get help from us removeing the nasty. really great software a little light reading involve but well worth it if you kinda understand fire wall then this software is for you
