    Hi,

i´d like to know, what you think about the following setup on a Win XP Pro machine:

    Antivir Free edition
    SSM Free 2.0.8.583
    Comodo Firewall
    BoClean
Sandboxie (currently for Firefox & XChat)

Do you think maybe BoClean is redundant? At least CPF & SSM i think is the right software for our computers.

I dont know what BOClean would be redundant with, but you could leave it out and still be safe.

The rest of your setup seems fine and if you like it then no need to change it.

Maybe with Antivir, but since it doesn´t use too much resources, i will just leave it in there.

    ah, very good. thank you!

See AntiVir doesn't detect spyware so your probably better of with BOClean.

I would question why you need SSM Free as its so cut down :p . Maybe EQSecure or Cyberhawk would suit you better...
