I was reading an article about firewalls, and in the comments to the article, someone asked about Kaspersky's firewall stating that she gets Kaspersky Internet Security free from her bank. No one asked what bank or anything and the article is year old or so, so no sense asking there.

Anyone know of a bank that gives Kaspersky to clients?

Good Evening! My Canadian bank provides...Browser and Malware protection with Trusteer Rapport...and I'm pretty sure Kaspersky isn't offered...by any of the Five Major banks. Sincerely...Securon

American banks probably don't trust an overseas vendor. Too many liability issues in case some data collected by their vendors is compromised or worse... If someone cleans out the account of those banks's customers because of a problem with Kaspersky software , what legal recourse does the customer or the bank have ? Sue Kaspersky in Russian court :) ?

I would do the same thing too if I were in their shoes.
