    Hi
I remember that i used version 8 and i never liked it at that time coz of it being bloatware (about 50 MB of RAM is something i can't live with). What about the new version i am talking about (v9.0 Standard edition)? Is it ok regarding memory ? what about its ability 2 pick up trojans compared 2 KAV?
    THANKS IN ADVANCE

I haven't tried the standard version, but had a peek at the Internet Security offering. That program seemed reasonably light to me, but there were some niggling features I didn't like, such as not being able to configure the firewall easily.

BD9 uses about 20Meg constantly. I was using it as a free on-demand scanner but got fed-up of the ram wastage. Nice programme, though. Scores well in tests but not as good as KAV.

I now use the free Escan as my on-demand back-up. Escan uses KAV.
