I use and like Kerio 2.1.5. Altho I will say that props should be given to LnS. Very good firewall and low on resources.

Using McAfee Personal Firewall Plus 7 since it's free with Comcast - and I use ProcessGuard to block leak tests.

TINY Firewall, the best for me!

I guess the purpose or result of this thread is to find out the most POPULAR firewall at Wilders, which has been repeated many times already :)

Without a doubt, Outpost Firewall Pro is the best for me.

I'm trying out Filseclab and its built-in Trojan blocking rules I think is one of the best. It's fast and my internet speed is just as good as Kerio 4.1.3. Kerio I think is good and it looks great and Filseclab looks more "modern". :D

Tested several firewalls, but still, overall, I could not decide yet what "brands" are really good. :p

    I voted other,

On my Windows Xp machine i've been running Kaspersky Anti Hacker... for about a year now, and very happy with it.

It alows /outbound control , something my NAT/firewall does not have.

Since my original post in this thread I have switched to ZoneAlarm 6.0. It runs very light, more so than any other version of ZA I have ever tried.

What I meant was it's being discontinued.

I use Kerio 2.1.5. They can keep (or discontinue) the newer versions. It doesn't matter whether they support it anymore or not. It's a straightforward, very effective, highly configurable, rule based firewall that's easy on system resources. Not bloated by non-firewall "features" that are better performed by other programs. It does one job, and does it very well. I've installed it on quite a few units from 98 to XP with excellent results.

So far Zone Alarm has performed better than others that I've trialed and purchased. ZA Pro 6 has some great features.
