    I just checked and found this error when updating to the latest version of CyberLock, earlier today, as above:

    Your supposed to shut down CL before updating and are you using a Home version or Pro of Windows? I have no issues here and working as it should.

    Sorry, but I don't agree. I found that I have not had to shutdown before updating. I have the Pro version of Windows 10.

    It does it's thing, automatically, until this time [an error occurred].

    P.S. It is working here, too.

    Hmmmm ... Whenever a person uses Windows Sandbox, a new partition is created on your hard drive. Does anyone know if the new version of Cyberlock, since it is now using Windows Sandbox, will create a new partition?
    Thanks, Acadia

    Thanks for the clarification. I wonder how in the world Dan got around using Windows Sandbox without it creating the PortableBaseLayer partition?

    @Triple Helix

    I had a feeling that I would hear further about this. I will act on Dan's [proffered] advice in future when updating CyberLock.

    P.S. Dan must look in on this forum from time to time, surely?

    Yes I asked him to look at the new sandbox and if it created a new partition but he must of looked at more. I wish he could be posting but he is not able still and I don't think that will change.

    Yeah, me too. I wish he would post over here again. I almost feel second-class because he chooses to post elsewhere and I don't go there that much anymore for various reasons (though my acct. is still active and open there).

    But, yes I've noticed CL prompts to have you exit out and close down before updating. Sandboxie does the same and I haven't had a problem with either one to date. Rapping on wood.

    Wow, OK. Must be some remnant from the bad old days, then. OK, I'll continue to rely on the messages from you guys, it's been fine. :)

    I installed v. 7.66 and so far it's fine but I don't run Outlook. Is this a beta build or?

    I don't know as there wasn't a email this time. But if it was a Beta the installer would have Beta within it and 7.66 doesn't.
