    hi i got a virus caught by pc cilian called A0005105.exe in my c /system volume but when i went to click on it..showed me no info its quarantined..anyone know what it is thanks MD

    I think its spyware as it said SPYW

    Did it find the same anywhere else? If its only in C:\System Volume Information then I dont think you need to do anything as those files are only for System Restore.

    Can you also give the full name of the malware (SPYW_<Insert name>)

    I think this thread should be moved too...

    thanks oops!! no it only said SPW as pccillian duz that!! didnt give me the ful name so if its in restore and its qurantiend? can i still use restore?? no didnt find it anywhere else thanks MD

    You shouldn't, it'll come back.

    Disable SR > reboot > enable SR and will create an initial clean restore point.
