    Hello,

I seem to have a virus of some sort, as I cannot maintain an internet connection for more than a few minutes. I have AVG 6.0 but, despite repeated scans it is identifying nothing. I had a similar problem a few months ago which I solved with your help (thanks). AVG identified this as a worm which I removed after posting my Hijack This log and following a few simple steps. Could you help me?

    Thanks very much,

    Ben

Hi Ben, can you take a look at post number 4 here, this shoud take care of most things out there, and if it doesn't, there are further instructions near the end of the post...

These are very specific instructions, that require using a Firewall and having your Windows FULLY up-to-date.

Let us know how you go...

    Cheers :D

    Download Adaware and Spybot[both free]
    update and run then.

sounds like it may be a spyware problem.
download the free 30 day trial of NOD32 Anti Virus
    update it and run it.

Also if u have the time follow Blackspear's advice above, it is very through and will remove almost all threats.
