Virus Help

Hello, i think that i have a virus because when i start windows the nod32 icon is not down the bottom near the time. It has been talken out of the Msconfig startup menu. My firewall has also had the same thing happen. There are not any proseses that i can see that are sus. I googled them all and non that are known as a 'virus'.

I also think that it must be some sort of keylogger because i was using my steam account and i got logged out from another computer and my password has been changed.

Can someone please help me get rid of this beast !

Hi Xedent, welcome to Wilders.

Please take the following steps:

1. Download a fresh copy of NOD32 from HERE

For help with entering your Username and Password please see HERE

2. Uninstall your current version.

3. REBOOT your Computer.

4. Remove the Eset Folder from C Drive> Program Files.

5. Install the FRESH copy of Nod32 that you downloaded above using “Typical Settings”.

6. Check your settings against the following Nod32 Tutorial


After this run a scan by following these steps:

1. Click on the NOD32 Control Centre (Green and White split square on the bottom right hand corner of your computers screen).
2. Click on NOD32.
3. Click on Run NOD32.
4. Click on “Scan and Clean”.
