    Pizmo file mount is also one to examine if you are into this. I used to use subst, but found some programs would not see it as a legal path.

    I use namespaces now, and although they are not virtual, they show up in explorer and offer a convenience. I like them because you can use them for network shares as well and it is a couple reg entries, pretty simple.

    Subst command in windows does exactly the same thing.
