AM a registered NOD32 client and i have been hit by wat i think is a variant of brontok.

    Symptoms of the virus.

    1.My computer keeps restarting,
2.My Task Manager and Shut Down Tabs are disabled.
3.You suffer a lot when you try installing NOD32 or any other anti virus. You can’t double click on any .exe the screen just flickers. I have to copy the setup file in C or D and run it from command prompt. You can’t install the normal way. The virus forces me to quit the installation.
4.I finally managed to install NOD32 and run a scan. During the scan a screen flickers saying that my profile has been modified. “Do you want to save changes? But you can’t click on yes, no or cancel.”
5.I have tried to paste the logs for NOD32 but I cant.NOD32 control centre screen just flickers
6.The virus had disabled my Tools-Folder options. I can’t see the folder options part. But NOD32 had detected infiltrations on emirates.exe and cleaned it.BUT am still expirience point 1-5.

    PLs help

    Hi there, welcome to Wilders.

Was this system clean when you tried to first install NOD32, or was it an already infected system?

Can you install NOD32 in Safe Mode?

    Cheers :D

Have a look in Administrator Services.

One should run and block all installations ...
