    ASUS EN210 Silent nVIDIA GeForce 210 GT218

    Memory Size: 4 GBytes

    Anything else?

ps. this only happens when the "Overview page" is avtive.

Maybe an option to exclude "ticking statistics" wolud solve the problem? I would try it since I don´t need those "ticking statistics":

Thanks for the answer..yeah that makes sense.

Isn't that what it is? Or do you mean not having "Internet Security" product like AV, FW product only? No then I understand and agree. And are you saying that the PLUS stands for Identity Shield and the other features? :)

I have a question relating to the new WSA licensing structure, and the forthcoming Prevx migration to WSA.

I have a Prevx licence with several years outstanding. I was also one of the people lucky enough to benefit, during a limited time period back in December, from Joe’s largesse in obtaining a WSA Essentials one-year licence gratis to tide me over until Prevx licences have been migrated.

When I received the licence, Essentials included Backup & Sync, a facility that I now use in real time to sync data across my computers. However if I understand correctly, Backup and Sync has been removed from Essentials v.8.0.2.14, and only those who are paid Essential licence-holders will be upgraded to WSA Complete upon renewal. So this is my question: when Prevx licence-holders are upgraded, will they be upgraded to Complete which includes Backup & Sync, or Essentials which does not? If the latter, help!!! I need Backup & Sync, and hope I’m not going to have to pay an arm and a leg (sorry, small exaggeration :( ) to upgrade to it!

And while on the subject, may I perchance tempt one more question? Any further news o_O on the timescale for the long and eagerly awaited Prevx->WSA migration? Is it likely to be before the end of the year as my one-year WSA licence (gratefully received from Joe :D ) will terminate then?

    EDIT:
One more question: Granted, existing paid-up Essentials licence-holders will be automatically upgraded to Complete upon licence renewal. But does that mean they will have to pay the full Complete price when they renew?? Sorry, just asking... :(

Identity Shield is included in the AV-only named product. The IS Plus version has this, but the additional features added are mobile protection and password management. The naming convention of the products is skewed in my opinion.

I swear, I like Webroot but I have never seen a company where everything is, "Off in the future." I mean, "Its coming,"

Have not had time to fully test or put it through its paces. My home machine has updated but here at work on the business side, it has not.

Only gripe so far is that the scan times have doubled from the old version. Is there some settings that were added that could be causing this to happen?

    Thanks in advance.

We have a major rewrite of the Backup & Sync product being released in the next month, which needs to be finished and released before the licenses are transitioned.

The full name of the "Complete" product is "Internet Security Complete" where as ISPlus is "Internet Security Plus".

We've done studies on it and most users are looking for an Antivirus product so we've put all of the protection elements in the AV product. Existing users who have AV should now automatically have all of the protection components - Backup/Sync/Password Management/System Cleaner are now just included as "add ons" depending on what level of a license you have.

The next update should improve this behavior - let me know your results once we push out the update (in the next ~2 weeks).

    Thanks!

The scan engine has had several improvements which could possibly slow down the scan over some files. It may be worth uninstalling/reinstalling to see if that improves it.

    Thanks :)

Daily scanning has doubled here too.
Same amount of files of course & nothing else running.

My suggestion is that this "ticking statistics screen" is optional - means that I can choose not to use it - and go with the "old" style.

    Thanx.

Thank you for the link, but I don't think this answers my question.

    To clarify again:
    1. I have a Prevx 3.0 licence which is valid for several years
    2. We Prevx 3.0 users are still waiting for migration to WSA
    3. While waiting, Joe last December generously granted me and several others from this Forum a free one-year limited WSA Essentials licence
    4. I am using Backup & Sync with this temporary free licence, and finding it extremely useful
    5. Backup & Sync has been excluded from WSA Essentials in the new licensing structure, which leads me to the question...
    6. Will Prevx 3.0 be migrated to WSA Essentials or to WSA Complete?? If it is to be migrated to WSA Essentials, from my point of view this will be a pity as I will lose Backup & Sync unless I upgrade.

I had a second question: for those who will be automatically upgraded to Complete, such as existing paid up Essential licence holders, will this mean having to eventually pay the higher Complete price when renewal date arrives?

And finally, for those of us Prevx licence-holders to whom Joe has very kindly given a temporary free one-year licence to tide us over, is there any possibility (and this question only Joe can answer) that the Prevx->WSA migration will happen before the end of the year, ie. before our temporary WSA licences expire??

Joe has said in the recent past that you could contact WSA support https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp? and get your Prevx 3.0 license changed over but to what version of WSA I don't know it's best for Joe to reply to that as it depends on what you have Prevx 3.0 or with SafeOnline? ;)

Thanks for the info, TH. I didn't know that.

FYI I have, if memory serves me correctly (for the last 9 months I have been using Joe's 1-year temporary WSAE licence), Prevx3+SOL.

    Ok Joe,

Did an uninstall re-install. First scan took awhile which I figured it would. Second scan was much faster.

    I rebooted.

After reboot, first scan was long once again. Subsequent scans were back to normal (no reboots after that).

Is this normal behavior? Let me know if you need further testing.

    Thanks. :)
