    Hi Javacool,

Not very important, I have minor questions/remarks about two files:

    1. mscomctl.ocx
I noticed on my XP-home SP3 that mscomctl.ocx was now also put in the SpywareBlaster folder:
    c:\program files\spywareblaster\mscomctl.ocx

    Any particular reason for that?

    2. sbversion5.txt
    c:\program files\spywareblaster\sbversion5.txt
I noticed that sbversion4.txt was replaced by sbversion5.txt while we're still on version 4.

    Hi,

Not a problem. Answers follow. :)

In the unfortunate case that another program's misbehaving installer replaces the system-wide "mscomctl.ocx" with an older version, the local copy helps ensure that the correct version is used. :)

Yep - the number in the sbversion*.txt filename is now associated with the "major revision" of that particular file's format, not with the version of SpywareBlaster. In this case, some major revisions were made to its contents and format between SpywareBlaster 4.1 and 4.2, so the number was incremented.

    Best regards,
