Using Factory installed OEM XP in VM?

    I want to wipe factory installed XP from my laptop, install ubuntu and then reinstall OEM XP in VM. I have already created an installation disk from per-installed OS.

    I want to ask if it is against MS EULA in any means or not?

    Sounds OK to me.

    Have you considered leaving WinXP in place and installing Ubuntu as a dual boot?

    Yes but VM is ideal for malware testing.
