Using Archive Snapshot for the 1st time (questions)

    Import and Export require too much selection work.
    I use copy/update and a pre-defined archive folder (under options) to work with snapshots and archives. Also archives will be visible in the main screen of FDISR and can be used as source or target archive.

    Import, Export, Freeze and Copy/Update are all similar, they all create and update snapshots or archives, only the name of the function is different.
    In a frozen snapshot you can even boot directly in any archive, if you change the freeze storage into an archive under options.

    Yes, they are similar but you cannot select the split option; I have not found that feature. :doubt:

    That's why FDISR created Import and Export, but I don't need the split function.

    Great. Thanks once again. I just exported an existing snapshot to my FAT32 ext. drive and it went flawless.
