    I'm using NOD v 2.50.25.
I haven't received a component upgrade in awhile, so I checked the website, and saw that v2.51.20 is the latest version.

Firstly, I have everything set to automatic... shouldn't I have received the upgrade automatically??

I'll download the upgrade, but I was wondering if I can install it over the top of the current version... or should I uninstall, then install the new version?

    Any help appreciated ;)

2.51.20 combines the 64 bit and 32 bit installer. You can install over the top. Just save your current settings when asked.

    thanks, ronjor!
BTW, shouldn't NOD have upgraded itself??

    Thanks again!

It's really not a major upgrade, so, in this case I would say no. The only difference is the installer as I understand it. It doesn't affect the core function of NOD, which is to detect malware.
    Just my opinion. :D

In that case, it doesn't seem worth upgrading.
    Thanks, ronjor... appreciated!
