It seems the providers all reappear, of course, when a new build is installed. One of the first things I do after upgrading, is go directly to the \Tracker Software\PDF Viewer\SearchProviders folder and simply delete it - you can always add one, or more, of your favorite search providers manually. Alternatively, you could delete specific search providers contained within that folder.

Otherwise: There is no real need to delete them all. Just select the favourite you use and it will be used everytime. If some others are in the list - who cares, they do nothing they don't eat bytes. :)

Indeed. Btw, I found out that removing search providers doesn't work properly unless PDF-X viewer is run with admin rights..

Well, if you don't have any need for them, just delete the entire "SearchProviders" folder. That's precisely what I do (as, like HAN, I have no need to search the web from a PDF reader) and nothing bad has happened.

Odd! Admin rights not required for me on any PC I have done this on (XP and WIN 7.)

Weird, I have it on Windows 7 and when I click to remove it, it asks are you sure, when I click yes it isn't removed, this problem isn't present when running it with Admin rights.
