    Hello spawn-ian,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

Could you please describe the issue in more details? Did you use Acronis True Image Bootable Rescue Media or did you use Acronis True Image in Windows to perform the restore? Please explain your step-by-step actions which you took that led you to this error. Please also send us a screen shot of the error, if possible. Also provide us with the exact vendor and model of the RAID controller you use.

Please create Acronis Report as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

After that please create an account, then log in and submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.

    1) Created Acronis True Image Bootable Rescue Media on the source machine (Dell SC1425) and produced the image to a external Maxtor USB h/d

2)Downloaded the correct SATA RAID drivers from

    http://support.euro.dell.com/suppor...typecnt=1&libid=41&releaseid=R106687&vercnt=2

Make and model of the Raid controller is "Adaptec CERC SATA 2s"

3)extracted the compress file and saved to a USB memory stick

4)Connected the external Maxtor USB h/d and the USB memory stick to the new Dell SC1425 server, loaded the rescue media.

    5) picked True image server with universal restore Full version.

    6) pointed the software to the image on the Maxtor USB.

    7) chose universal restore and forced the SATA driver from the USB memory stick.

 waited for the image to restore and completed with errors.

furthure information checked the OEM7.inf and OEM9.inf on the sorce and both are hidden and empty which might explain those errors.

Removed the two empty inf files and tested another restore to an IBM Eserver xseries 225 but now getting the below error:

Failed to install driver for 'PCI\VEN_1014&DEV_01BD&SUBSYS_02591014&REV_00'. (0x1D0004) Tag = 0xDCB317F3CF89D7FC"

Failed to install driver for 'PCI\VEN_9005&DEV_8014&SUBSYS_00449005&REV_03'. (0x1D0004) Tag = 0xDCB317F3CF89D7FC"

Both seem to relate to the disk controller however both the DELL Poweredge SC1425 and the IBM Eserver X-Series 225 have different disk controllers.
