    Hi everyone,

I took a backup of a server to a USB drive using a boot disk, as this is an SBS box, and I wanted to be sure to capture the system state etc - no changes during the backup. When I restored the backup to new hardware, I get a BSOD and it starts a reboot loop. I am NOT able to boot into safe mode. I used the Acronis convert to VM feature, and I can boot the virtual machine of this image. Ideas? I'm going to try again with the latest storage drivers, and verify I'm using the correct Intel Storage Matrix stuff, but otherwise...ideas are welcome. Thanks!

    Hello LynnJ57,

Thank you for using Acronis Corporate Products

Please make sure that you follow the exact steps described in the article Transferring Windows to Dissimilar Hardware

If the operating system still fails to boot, we need additional information to find the reason of the issue. Are you able to provide us with the exact errors?

    Thank you.
