webfonts are normally not used this way. anyhow the gdpr is mandatory if 3rd-party fonts are used and there is set a cookie for this, eg from google. if not it can get expensive for web master.
blocking webfonts can have negative side effects on pages in most cases.

This filter blocks the fingerprinting script here:
    Code:
    ||*fonts.js$script

I wrote that it doesn't seem to work because with the rule active if you run the System Fonts Cover You Tracks test you get the fonts:

Much more interesting is the rule I wrote to block TLS fingerprinting.

    https://browserleaks.com/tls

Although unfortunately it does not block only JA3 Hash (which is usually variable) and JA3n Hash (usually non-variable value).

Whatever you do to try to prevent fingerprinting, you will be fingerprinted regardless.
    Best way: use Tor browser.
    Firefox:

    Tor browser:

Tor-browser has settings which are available in every Firefox, except those with code change. and in fact tor-browser is readable from NSA if you hit one of those servers, you cannot control the onion choice.

    I doubt I'm a target of the NSA. :)

Now, regarding fingerprinting, uBO already blocks a lot of known fingerprinting scripts.
And turning on 'privacy.resistFingerprinting' in Firefox makes browsing rather inconvenient.

Seems to work for me. Nothing shows on font fingerprinting page with that filter rule in uBO.

There's a problem that's been happening recently at foxnews. It refuses to let you read complete articles; it gives you the first snippet and then gradually fades out. It seems as though the articles load completely first, then their "paywall" script loads and goes into effect last. They want you to have an account with them in order to read the whole thing. It has only been this way the last couple of months. Anyone know of any way around this?

In uBlock Origin, I use Bypass Paywalls Clean filters.
It can be added to uBlock Origin filter lists by importing the custom filter.
I see it works nicely for Fox News.

Well damn. I installed that new list, but I still have the same issue. Are you able to see that page I linked to?

Oh, that's a pity. I can view that Fox News page without a problem.
I use Firefox. What browser do you use?
Perhaps one of my other filter lists may be important, or some Firefox setting.

I use firefox as well, and floorp. I do not have this issue when I use vivaldi, using the same ubo settings.

You could see if Firefox Troubleshoot Mode makes a difference.
If it does, one of your customizations may be the cause of the problem.
If you have many customizations, it can be hard to find out which is the culprit.

I solved it! It turns out my rules were to blame. I deleted every rule for foxnews, then recreated only the ones I knew needed to be blocked. Everything works fine now. Thanks @Stupendous Man!

The filter list doesn't support as many sites as the extension/add-on does.

I don't think I need many sites, I just want to get rid of extensions that don't serve me a lot and if I get the same functionality then I could ditch BPC extension.

But keep in mind that the more extensions you use the greater your, theoretical attack surface is. I prefer the filter list myself. If need be I can just select the rules I need, which cannot be done with the extension. Also, Mozilla says they will keep taking down and disabling the extension when they receive a complaint against it.

From the extension site, yes. But you an still install it from their github page. It was just updated 7 hours ago.
