Same old thing. Pointing at someone else to distract attention from themselves for doing the very same things. It's beyond the "pot calling the kettle black". Is there anything left that isn't black any more?

What gets to me here is that pointing the finger at China might have worked before Snowden blew the NSA's corruption wide open, but *everyone* knows the game they're playing now. To try the same stunt again is not just dumb, it's insulting.

It is insulting, but it basically works. With the mainstream news barely covering any of this, it doesn't seem real to them. People have to actively look for this "news" while the news that they want you to hear is constantly shoved in your face. The longer they repeat a lie, the more it becomes true to those hearing it. Examples, Russia "annexing" Crimea and the rest of the Ukraine news. How many have forgotten about the Diebold Accuvote scandal? The American public also has a very short attention span. It takes almost nothing to distract them from news they'd rather avoid. They count on this and it works. Yes, it's insulting, and as much as I hate to say it, it's deserved. I say this as a US citizen. The majority have become so naive, so self absorbed, and so easily led, the insults fit and the US people are getting exactly what they deserve, completely and totally deceived and used.
