TrueImage 9.0 Home window to does not open

    Just installed TI 9.0 Home on a WinMe box. The installation had no problems. After it restarted WinMe, I click on Acronis 9.0 icon and the disk light went on for a second or two, but no trueimage window came up. The task mgr said it was running. If I click on the desktop icon again the same thing happens, and now task mgr shows 2 entries for trueimage running.
    I had trueimage 8.0 running OK for a year on the same PC.
    I made a TI 9.0 rescue boot CD on another PC and this runs OK on the Winme PC.

    The version I am having problems with WinMe is TrueImage home 9.0 build 3.633. The post says wait for the the next update.
    When will the update be available?

    I already have TI 8.0 that works on the WinMe PC. I bought the upgrade to TI 9.0 home expecting it to work on the same PC.

    It is worth noting that Microsoft will no longer be offering support or issuing any security upddates for Windows ME and Windows 98 from the 11th of this month.
    So make sure your backups work.
