truecrypt and ssd alignment

    If I encrypt an existing entire drive using trucrypt's online encrypt feature, will it affect the sector alignment required for performance?

    No, that is a function of the OS install if done on a virgin drive, or you, if you partition the SSD yourself. I like doing it my self, to get rid of that stupid 100MB partition in Windows. Mini-Tool Partition Wizard boot disk is free, and will align the partitions for SSDs.
